Infinitus Pricing: Per Call, Per Task and Platform Fees
Last updated / Reviewed by Clunic Research Team
Quick answer
Infinitus does not publish rates. Checked September 2026. Its pricing page describes annual platform and licence fees combined with usage billed per task or per minute, or a subscription, with discounted task rates for customers who accept multi year contracts and monthly minimums. No third party has reported a credible per call figure, so model your ceiling from current payer hold hours.

Infinitus does not publish rates. It does, unusually for this category, publish how it charges. Checked September 2026, the Infinitus pricing page states that options include annual platform and licence fees combined with usage, billed per task or per minute, as well as a subscription model, and that discounted task rates are available to customers who agree to multi year contracts and monthly minimums. It asks you to contact the company for figures. That is more than most voice vendors say, and less than you need to budget.
No third party has published a credible Infinitus per call or per task figure. Agentman's August 2026 healthcare voice AI pricing comparison, written by a competitor, reports the same model language and confirms that Infinitus discloses no rate. Review sites list the product without a price. Treat any specific dollar figure you see attributed to Infinitus as unsourced unless it comes from a quote in your own hands.
The product is outbound: an AI agent that phones payers and pharmacy benefit managers on your behalf for benefit verification, prior authorization status and follow up, and returns structured results. That shape is why usage pricing per task makes sense, and why the number you need before a quote is your own: how many payer calls a month, how long each takes including hold, and what a staff hour costs. Our Infinitus vendor profile holds the registry facts.
How is Infinitus priced?
In layers. The platform and licence fee is an annual fixed amount that covers access, integrations and support. Usage sits on top, billed either per task, meaning a completed benefit verification or status check, or per minute of call time. A subscription option bundles an expected volume into a fixed fee. Multi year commitment and a monthly minimum buy a lower task rate, which is the standard trade in enterprise usage pricing: you take volume risk, the vendor lowers the unit price.
Per task and per minute produce very different bills for the same work. A benefit verification call that spends 25 minutes on hold and four minutes talking costs the same per task however long the hold, and much more per minute. Ask for both structures on the same call mix, and ask how a task is defined: whether a call that reaches a payer but cannot complete the verification counts, whether a callback counts as a second task, and whether a task that returns incomplete data is billed.
The monthly minimum is the other lever. A minimum sized to your peak month rather than your average month means you pay for calls you do not make in the quiet months. Size it to the tenth percentile of your monthly volume, not the mean. The AI phone agent use case sets out where outbound payer minutes actually sit in a back office, which is the starting point for that volume estimate.
What is included and what costs extra?
Included in the platform fee, on the vendor's description, is the agent itself, the payer knowledge it has accumulated across customers, the work queue where results land, standard support and the integrations Infinitus maintains. What to price separately:
- EHR or practice management integration. Infinitus names no EHR integrations on its public site and results usually arrive through its own queue or an API. If you want results written back into your system, that is integration work on your side or a priced connector. Our Epic page lists what a vendor should be able to name.
- Task types. Benefit verification, authorization status, authorization follow up and pharmacy tasks may carry different rates.
- Failed and partial calls. Whether these are billed, and at what fraction.
- Human in the loop review. Whether Infinitus staff review flagged calls, and whether that is a separate service fee.
- Telephony. Whether call minutes to payers are included in the task price or passed through.
- Implementation and payer onboarding. Configuring your payer list, scripts and result formats.
Overage above a subscription volume, and the rate at which it is billed, deserves a line of its own in the quote. Usage pricing is where the first year discount is quietly recovered.
How does Infinitus compare with alternatives on price?
Nothing in the outbound payer calling niche publishes a rate that a mid sized provider can rely on, so the comparison is between pricing structures. Infinitus sells platform plus usage. Inbound patient access vendors such as Assort Health and Hyro sell annual platform agreements with third party reports of five figure annual minimums, but they solve a different problem, the phone ringing unanswered rather than staff sitting on hold, so a price comparison between them and Infinitus is not one you should have to make. Our AI phone agents comparison splits the market by call direction for that reason.
The comparison that does apply is against the non voice ways of getting the same answer. Electronic eligibility through a clearinghouse costs cents per transaction, with third party reports around 0.14 USD per eligibility check for Waystar and free sponsored payer checks through Availity Essentials. A voice agent earns its fee only on the questions those transactions cannot answer, which in practice means detailed benefit investigation for specialty drugs and procedures, and authorization status where the payer offers no electronic channel. Price Infinitus against that residual volume, not against your total eligibility count.
Is Infinitus worth it?
It is worth it when staff hours on hold to payers are large, the questions cannot be answered electronically, and the volume is steady enough to size a minimum without waste. A worked example. A specialty practice's benefits team makes 1,200 payer calls a month for benefit investigations, averaging 28 minutes each including hold, which is 560 hours a month, or about 3.5 full time equivalents at a loaded cost of around 4,800 USD each a month, so roughly 16,800 USD a month.
If the agent completes 75 percent of those calls without staff involvement and the remaining 25 percent still need a person, staff time falls to about 140 hours plus review time on returned results, say 60 hours, so 200 hours in total. The saving is about 360 hours or 10,800 USD a month, roughly 130,000 USD a year, and that is the ceiling an annual platform fee plus 900 completed tasks a month should be tested against. The assumptions doing the work are the completion rate and the review time, and both should be measured in a pilot on your own payer mix, because payers differ in how they handle automated callers.
The prior authorization cost calculator handles the authorization follow up portion of that arithmetic, and the days in A/R benchmark puts a cash value on faster benefit answers where they shorten the time from order to billable service.
What to negotiate before signing an Infinitus agreement
- Task definition. Written definitions of a completed task, a partial task and a failed task, with the billing treatment of each.
- Per task and per minute quotes on the same call mix, with a right to switch structure at renewal.
- Minimum sized to your low months, not your average, with a rollover of unused volume within the year.
- Completion rate commitment by payer, measured in a pilot, with a fee adjustment if it is not met.
- Data quality warranty. What happens when a returned benefit answer is wrong and a claim denies as a result.
- Recording and transcript terms. Retention period, who can retrieve them, whether they train any model, and the subprocessor list, checked against the HIPAA and AI compliance baseline. The business associate agreement should reflect the answers.
- Renewal cap and exit, including export of task history in a usable format.
- CMS-0057-F position. From January 2027, impacted payers must expose prior authorization status through an API, as explained on our CMS prior authorization rule page. Ask how Infinitus will use those interfaces instead of phoning, and what that does to your task volume and fee.
What an independent review adds
Usage pricing rewards the party that understands the volume better, and that is the vendor until you do the work. An independent review counts the calls by payer and question type, separates the volume that electronic transactions could answer for cents from the volume that genuinely needs a call, sizes the minimum against your low months and designs a pilot that measures completion rate by payer before you commit to a multi year rate. It also reads the task definitions, because that is where the effective price is set.

Our vendor selection service runs this process on fixed terms, and the AI governance and compliance service covers the recording, retention and agreement review that an agent placing calls containing patient identifiers requires. Questions we get asked
Does Infinitus charge per call?
Per task or per minute usage is one layer of its pricing, on top of annual platform and licence fees, or bundled into a subscription, according to the Infinitus pricing page checked September 2026. Whether a task is billed per completed call, per verification or per minute is a contract choice, so get both structures quoted on the same call mix.
How much does Infinitus cost per call?
Not published, and no credible third party figure exists as of September 2026. Infinitus discloses only the model: platform fees plus per task or per minute usage, with lower task rates for multi year contracts and monthly minimums. Build a ceiling from your own payer call hours using the prior authorization cost calculator before requesting a quote.
Is there a minimum contract for Infinitus?
Infinitus states that discounted task rates come with multi year contracts and monthly minimums, which implies an annual platform agreement as the base. Size any minimum to your lowest volume months rather than your average, and negotiate rollover of unused volume within the year.
Does Infinitus integrate with our EHR?
Infinitus names no EHR integrations on its public site, and results typically arrive through its work queue or an API. Write back into your practice management system is integration work you should price separately. Our EHR integration questions post lists what to confirm.
Is Infinitus an inbound phone agent?
No. Infinitus places outbound calls to payers and pharmacy benefit managers for benefit verification and authorization follow up. It does nothing for your inbound patient line. For inbound agents, see the AI phone agents comparison, which splits vendors by call direction.
Does Infinitus sign a business associate agreement?
Yes, Infinitus contracts as a business associate. Because its calls contain patient identifiers and are recorded, ask specifically what is retained from recordings and transcripts, for how long, whether any of it trains a model, and which subprocessors touch it, and make sure the agreement reflects the answers.
