DeepScribe Pricing: What Practices Report Paying
Last updated / Reviewed by Clunic Research Team
Quick answer
DeepScribe does not publish pricing. Checked September 2026. It sells a per provider per month subscription through a demo and sales process, with EHR integration and coding priced as add ons. Software Finder's pricing guide reports solo providers at about 200 to 400 US dollars per month and other reviews report 350 to 500 with EHR integration, plus one time implementation fees. Annual terms are typical.

DeepScribe publishes no price. Checked September 2026, deepscribe.ai/pricing returned a not found error and the homepage offers a demo request and a contact form. The registry entry says pricing on request, and nothing on the site contradicts it.
The most detailed third party account is Software Finder's DeepScribe pricing guide, which estimates the platform at 200 to 750 US dollars per month and breaks that down by practice size: solo providers at 200 to 400 per month, small practices of two to five providers at 600 to 1,500, mid sized groups at 2,000 to 5,000, large groups at 5,000 to 12,000 and enterprise systems at 10,000 to 25,000 or more. Other reviews we found report 350 to 500 US dollars or more per provider per month, with a base non integrated tier around 350 and EHR integrated options around 450 to 500, and one describes EHR integration as adding roughly 100 dollars per provider per month. These are estimates by directories and competing vendors, not DeepScribe's list, and they do not agree with each other precisely, which is itself informative.
Read together, they place DeepScribe above Freed, Sunoh.ai and Nabla and in the same band as Suki. What the price buys is a product oriented to specialty practices with structured EHR write back on athenahealth, Epic, eClinicalWorks and NextGen. Our AI scribe pricing comparison sets the reported range beside the vendors that publish.
How is DeepScribe priced?
Per provider per month, on a subscription quoted after a demo, with the price moving on four variables that Software Finder lists: provider count, visit volume, integration depth and customisation. There is no self serve plan and no individual checkout. Contract term is reported to affect the rate, with annual agreements carrying discounts against monthly.
The structure worth understanding is that integration is priced rather than included. A quote for the scribe alone and a quote for the scribe writing structured data into your EHR are different numbers, and the second is the one that matters to most practices, because a scribe whose notes have to be pasted is a scribe whose saving is partly spent on pasting. When comparing DeepScribe with a vendor whose published price includes write back, such as Sunoh.ai, compare the integrated quote.
DeepScribe sells to specialty practices and groups more than to health systems, and its vendor page covers the specialties and integrations. On price the point is simply that the reported range is wide and the add ons are where it widens.
What is included and what costs extra?
Software Finder's guide lists the add ons and one time charges it found, and they are the useful part of the report because they show where a quote grows.
- EHR integration. Reported as a one time implementation charge of 1,000 to 10,000 US dollars depending on the system, and by other reviews as roughly 100 dollars per provider per month on the subscription. DeepScribe's integrations on Epic, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks and NextGen are built on published interfaces, so part of the cost is your team's. The DeepScribe and Epic integration page sets out what that involves.
- Coding intelligence. Reported at 50 to 200 US dollars per provider per month.
- Multilingual support. Reported at 25 to 100 per provider per month.
- Priority support and SLAs. Reported at 100 to 500 per month.
- Training. Reported at 500 to 3,000 one time. Advanced customisation and data migration are listed as further one time charges.
None of these figures is confirmed by DeepScribe. Their value is as a checklist: ask for each of them as a line in the quote, with a zero where it does not apply, so the integrated, trained, supported price is what you compare with other vendors.
How does DeepScribe compare with Suki, Sunoh.ai and Freed on price?
| Vendor | Published | Price or reported range | EHR write back |
|---|---|---|---|
| DeepScribe | No | About 200 to 400 USD per provider per month solo, per Software Finder; 350 to 500 plus integrated per other reviews | Add on, four EHRs named |
| Suki | No | 299 to 399 USD per user per month, per HealOS | Yes, four EHRs named |
| Sunoh.ai | Yes | 149 USD per user per month, listed against 199 | Included |
| Freed | Yes | 39, 79 and 119 USD per month; 104 annually on Premier | Premier and Groups |
On reported figures DeepScribe and Suki occupy the same band, two to three times Sunoh.ai's published rate and several times Freed's. The case for paying it is specialty depth and structured write back on your EHR. If your specialty is one where DeepScribe's templates are strong and your EHR is one it integrates with, the higher seat price may be cheaper than a lower priced product plus your own integration work.
For an eClinicalWorks practice, Sunoh.ai's published integrated price is the natural benchmark. For an athenahealth or Epic group, Suki and Dragon Copilot are the comparators. The pricing comparison covers normalising quotes to cost per clinician per month at your volume.
Is DeepScribe worth it?
Use the reported integrated figure. At 450 US dollars per provider per month, or 5,400 a year, a specialist costing 300,000 US dollars for 2,000 hours is 150 dollars an hour, and break even is 36 hours a year, or about 10 minutes a clinic day across 220 days. Ambient documentation in a specialty with long histories, such as neurology or cardiology, usually returns more than that. In a procedural specialty with short templated notes it may not.
Add the one time costs: implementation reported at 1,000 to 10,000 per practice, training, and a two to three week adoption dip. Add the constant cost of note review, which at three minutes across 20 notes a day is an hour that comes straight out of the saving. Then add your own team's integration hours, since the interfaces are yours to own. The tool is worth it when the net is positive at your volume, and the way to know is to measure documentation time for two weeks before the pilot and again during it.
The AI scribe ROI calculator takes your baseline, clinician cost and encounter volume and produces a break even seat price to take into the negotiation. The ambient scribe use case page explains how to run the baseline.
What to negotiate before signing
- Integrated price as the headline. Refuse a quote that separates the scribe from the write back; the integrated number is the one you are buying.
- Implementation as a fixed fee with go live criteria and a holdback, since the reported range is wide.
- Add ons priced now, even the ones you are not buying, so adding coding in year two is not a new negotiation.
- Seat bands with a true up, since specialty groups have part time providers who should not carry a full seat.
- Term against rate. Annual agreements are reported to discount. Ask for the annual rate and a pilot period credited against it.
- Data terms. Retention, model training use and subprocessors, written into the BAA. The HIPAA and AI compliance page lists the clauses.
Arrive with a competing integrated quote and a ceiling from your own model. The width of the reported range suggests the price is negotiable.
What an independent review adds
DeepScribe's public pricing record is a set of estimates that disagree with each other, and the quote you receive will include several add ons whose value depends on your specialty and EHR. An independent review turns that into a single comparable number: the integrated, trained, supported cost per provider per month on your system, set against two alternatives priced the same way.
It also estimates the integration effort your own team will carry on an API based interface, which is the cost most often left out of a specialty group's business case. Our vendor selection service does the comparison and supports the negotiation, and you can book a call to talk through your shortlist.

Questions we get asked
How much does DeepScribe cost per provider?
Not published. Software Finder's pricing guide reports solo providers at about 200 to 400 US dollars per month, and other reviews report 350 to 500 or more per provider per month with EHR integration. Implementation is reported as a separate one time charge. Ask for an integrated quote in writing.
Is there a free trial of DeepScribe?
No trial is published. DeepScribe sells through a demo and sales process, and pilots are scoped as part of it. Ask for the pilot period to be credited against the first year before it starts.
Does DeepScribe pricing include Epic integration?
Reports describe EHR integration as an add on, either a one time implementation charge or a per provider monthly uplift. The Epic interface is built on published APIs, so your team carries part of the work. See the DeepScribe and Epic integration page.
Does DeepScribe require a long term contract?
Not published. Annual agreements are reported to carry discounts against monthly, which implies both are available. Ask for exit terms and note export format before signing.
What is the cheapest alternative to DeepScribe?
For individuals, Heidi publishes a free tier and Freed publishes plans from 39 US dollars per month. For a practice that needs EHR write back at a published price, Sunoh.ai lists 149 per user per month. The pricing comparison lays them out.
